Was pondering how can I improve the orange jelly that I did and why it went wrong.
This time, I used a cheaper juice ~ Yuzu Juice from Fruit Tree only $3 something for 1 liter. Same method, but this time I half the recipe and without sugar since it’s already sugar inclusive in the juice and only two tiny drops of honey to balance the taste of the bitterness of Yuzu.
Results : Voila! It taste just like a jelly. The result of wobbly wonderful jelly.
Did the second batch with an additional gelatin leave and the result is still ok. Is it because of the consistency of the juice that hinders the wobblies or becomes pudding like? No idea but definitely will use a clearer liquid like Apple, Grape or Cheaper Orange Juice. Some of my “guinea pig” tester suggested coconut juice.
Definitely will make again.
